chin filler
Starting at $1,400
Chin filler helps correct asymmetry, indentations, and dimpling of the chin. This area is frequently ignored but is very important to obtain total facial rejuvenation. Filler in this lower third part of your face helps balance lips and helps with jawline contouring. An average of 2-4 is used to treat this area.
How long does it last?
Cheek filler lasts 6-12 months.
What to expect?
Swelling, soreness, bruising, and asymmetry after your treatment is normal throughout the healing process. Chin filler takes 2 full weeks to settle completely. It is unrealistic to expect no bruising after your injectables appointment or to ask how much you will bruise. Everyone bruises and heals differently.
Before & Aftercare?
Before your appointment, it is very important that you avoid blood thinners for at least one week. Avoiding blood thinners such as ibuprofen, aspirin, naproxen, St. John’s Wort, ginger, garlic, ginkgo biloba, vitamin A, vitamin E, Omega-3 fatty acids (fish oils), and other anti-inflammatory medications will help decrease the amount of bruising after your procedure. Please avoid any alcohol intake for at least 24-hours prior and after your appointment to help decrease the amount of bruising.
After your chin filler treatment, it is important that you avoid touching, massaging, or applying makeup for 6 hours after. Using Arnica, bromelain or consuming pineapple (if not allergic) helps increase faster healing time due to its anti-inflammatory effects and helping heal bruises faster. If you experience severe weather or dramatic atmospheric pressure changes please be aware that you may experience greater than normal swelling. To avoid additional swelling, sleep with head elevated for 2-4 days after treatment.
